History of Innovation and Industry Leadership Continues With Focus to Deliver High-IQ Networks for Best-in-Class Cloud Builders

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Sep 2, 2014) - From delivering some of the earliest solutions that powered the backbone of the Internet to pioneering the industry's first open networking operating system, Juniper Networks (NYSE: JNPR) today marked another key company milestone in its continuing journey to shape the global networking industry. Juniper's chief executive officer and company employees will ring the Closing Bell of the New York Stock Exchange celebrating the 15 year anniversary of its IPO.

Shaygan Kheradpir, Juniper's CEO, commented, "I am proud of the transformative role the company has played throughout its iconic history. Juniper's achievements would not have been realized without its talented and passionate people, some of which will join me today on the NYSE podium. As we continue to execute on our strategy, leading-edge companies are choosing Juniper to help solve their most pressing network challenges. For these reasons and more, I am excited about what the future holds."

In 2009, the New York Stock Exchange and Juniper Networks worked together to design a state-of-the-art, ultra-low latency core network for NYSE Euronext's new consolidated global data centers.

"Juniper has been a fantastic partner in the development of our networking systems. We are proud that our network meets the incredibly stringent demands of a worldwide trading infrastructure and congratulate Juniper on this significant milestone," said Jay Rajarathinam, vice president of Infrastructure and Engineering for Intercontinental Exchange, the parent company of NYSE.
